MEMRISE, MONDLY, BUSUU

As you know, language learning becomes easier and more entertaining with using apps. I want to tell you about three amazing apps that you can study English or any other language you are teaching or learning. On my previous posts, I talked about app called "Duolingo" and how practical it was. The apps I will mention today are kind of similar to Duolingo.

MEMRISE
Memrise is an app that allows you to practise and memorize words and patterns. It tests your listening skills as well. At first, you have to choose the language you are speaking and the language you want to learn. Then, you choose your level and create your account. Memrise gives videos from native speakers of that language and asks you to choose correct words after hearing them. For example, in this video, a man who is a native speaker of Spanish says que tal and you choose the written version.

It also gives you the meaning as you can see and durin the next exercises, it asks the meaning after hearing the spoken form. App also allows you to work on written forms. The exercises keep going like that. Both written forms and spoken forms are asked for you to memorize vocabulary. After completing those exercises, you reach your daily goal.

MONDLY
Mondly is another app for memorizing vocabulary. If you are having a hard time memorizing words, this app is really helpful for you. The vocabulary and tests are all in order for you to understand better. When you sign up, you have to choose target language and your mother tongue as well as your level on target language.  Mondly also asks your interests to make memorizing vocabulary more entertaining for you.
Firstly, it gives you conversation and then gives you matching exercises. It gives multiple choice questions and translation questions after hearing conversation and finishing the matching games. Like many other language apps, this one gives you daily goals as well. If you reach your goal each day, you will have been able to memorize vocabulary.

BUSUU

Busuu is an app for practicing languages. Their motto is "Speak a language in 10 minutes a day." , which tells us the main goal of the app. After signing up, you have to choose your level and your purpose of learning. Then, you are asked to choose a level to achieve and decide the time of the day to practise. Also you have to choose how long you would practice for a day. The least is 10 minutes. Practice starts with simple listening  activities. You hear few words and phrases then questions start. Busuu gives you fill in the blanks, match, complete sentences, translation activies. When those activies are done, it starts the listening activities. You are asked to type what you've heard or the meaning of what you've heard. At the end of the practice, a conversation about what you've studied  appears to help your memorization.
